Bison Prints and Drawings 2017 –

For almost 20 years, my neighbors maintained a herd of about 30 Bison. Over the years I became fascinated by their scale, fierceness, playfulness with each other, and their curiosity. If I stood next to the fence they would invariably come as a herd for closer inspection. It was only a couple of years before they sold the herd to a farm in Connecticut that they made their way into my work.
